Man Found With Dangerous Weapons In Car In Takoma Park: Police

Police found a loaded magazine in Jamal Wilson's glove box, along with other dangerous weapons in his car.

TAKOMA PARK, MD — A 24-year-old Fort Washington man was arrested for Possession of a Firearm in Takoma Park, police announced Thursday.

At about 6:52 p.m. Tuesday, police conducted a traffic stop in the 7600 block of New Hampshire Ave. Pursuant to the stop, a firearm was recovered on the rear seat of Jamal Wilson's vehicle, police said.

Police also discovered a loaded magazine in the glove box and other dangerous weapons in Wilson's vehicle, police said. Wilson was arrested, charged accordingly and transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit.
