Residents Decide On Design For New Takoma/Langley Crossroads Mural
Residents chose a "vibrant flower/plant life" design for the new mural that will be completed in June.
TAKOMA PARK, MD — Community residents turned out at two meetings to pick a design for the new mural that will be created at the Takoma/Langley Crossroads this June. The mural will be painted on the side of El Alazan Western Wear at 1337 Holton Ln., across the street from the mural created in 2015.
The Takoma/Langley Crossroads Development Authority hired the Krsko Group to create the new mural. The artist will be Peter Krsko, who has previously painted a mural for Takoma Park.
Residents chose the design below at the meetings. The Takoma Park Twitter account described it as aa "vibrant flower/plant life mural."
