Takoma Park Cocaine Arrest: Police

Two people were arrested for possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute in Takoma Park.

TAKOMA PARK, MD — Takoma Park Police announced the arrests of two people for possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute.

Christopher Tyme, 32, of Capital Heights, Maryland, and Julia Spencer, 22, of no fixed address, were arrested Thursday at around 2:30 p.m., police said.

Police were conducting surveillance in the area of the 7500 block of New Hampshire Ave. when they made contact with Tyme and Spencer. Upon approaching the vehicles, officers could smell marijuana emanating from both vehicles, police said.

A search incident to arrest revealed cocaine in an amount indicative of an intent to distribute. Tyme and Spencer were both arrested, charged accordingly and transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit without incident.
