Takoma Park Crime: Woman Arrested For Outstanding Warrant, Prescription Pills

TAKOMA PARK, MD — Police arrested a Takoma Park woman for an outstanding warrant and possession of prescription drugs with the intent to distribute Thursday evening.

Rebecca Lanham, 55, was arrested at about 7:17 p.m. when the Takoma Park Police Special Assignment Team were patrolling in the 500 block of Ethan Allen Avenue.

Officers observed Lanham in the area and were aware of the open warrant for Lanham, police said.

Lanham was transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit without incident, police told Patch.
