Teen Girl Missing From Takoma Park, Police Say

TAKOMA PARK, MD — Detectives from the Takoma Park Police Department are looking for a missing 17-year-old girl.

Ashley Recoins Jovel left her residence in the 700 block of Hudson Ave. at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday, police said.

Police describe Jovel as a 5'3" hispanic female with short brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray shirt, light colored blue jeans and black and white Nike shoes. There is currently no picture available, police said.
