Joan Tuttle McGill Joins Maryland CASA Board
TOWSON, MD– Maryland CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) Association has appointed Joan Tuttle McGill to a two-year term on its board of directors.

Joan advocated as a CASA volunteer for 13 consecutive years for CASA of Baltimore County, Inc., where she also served on their board of directors for 6 years.
“I look forward to taking the knowledge I gained over the years and applying it to the state level,” said McGill. “I hope to use my experience of being a CASA volunteer, as well as a board member for CASA of Baltimore County, to support the Maryland CASA mission of ensuring all of Maryland’s abused and neglected children their right to a safe, permanent home,” she added.

McGill has accumulated over 30 years of experience in marketing and community relations and is currently the President of The Dillingham Company, a marketing services and real estate management firm located in Sparks, MD.
McGill has chosen to join Maryland CASA Association’s public relations committee, where she will assist in reaching out to the community about the work of Maryland CASA and their work on behalf of Maryland’s abused and neglected children.
“We are thrilled to have Joan join our board,” said Ed Kilcullen, Maryland CASA’s state director. “Her experience as an advocate for children, as well as her board experience in Baltimore County, will be invaluable to the Maryland CASA board.”
In the past, McGill has also served on the board of directors for Baltimore Reads, Inc. a nonprofit organization that provided adult literacy education to the Baltimore community for over 25 years until its closing in 2014.
McGill has received executive citations for her volunteerism in child advocacy from Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamentz and the Hon. Kathleen Gallogly Cox, chief administrative judge of the Baltimore County Circuit Court.
McGill currently resides in Northern Baltimore County.
