Circle East To Break Ground In Towson
The development project in downtown Towson will mark the start of construction on Tuesday with a groundbreaking.

TOWSON, MD โ A ceremonial groundbreaking is planned for Circle East in Towson on Tuesday, Nov. 7. Circle East is the name of the development project that includes the former Trader Joe's and Barnes & Noble stores on Joppa Road.
Circle East will transform the corner of Joppa at York roads into a pedestrian friendly area with a building containing 371 apartments and 240,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space. Retail Properties of America (RPAI) owns the property and will be handling the development project.
Tuesday's groundbreaking will feature speakers including Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz, Baltimore County Councilman David Marks, RPAI COO Shane Garrison, RPAI Vice President Nick Over and AvalonBay Senior Vice President Martin Howle Sr. The event will run from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at 1 East Joppa Road.
