"Guests of the Ayatollah" Cook Library Book Discussion

In honor of author Mark Bowden’s visit to campus on April 11th, Cook Library Book Club will discuss his book Guests of the Ayatollah. The meeting begins with Dr. Charles Schmitz, Associate Professor of Geography at Towson, providing background on this book that chronicles the Iranian Hostage Crisis as told through the eyes of the hostages. Then Librarian Joyce Garczynski will lead attendees in a discussion about the book. Light refreshments will be served. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the Towson University Store.
