This diverse program by the university’s faculty brass quintet features Oskar Bohme’s historic sextet and a world premiere of Alec Leventis’s Fanfare and Hymn. A Performance of Phil Snedecor’s The Fountain memorializes victims of 9-11 in a ten-year retrospective of the event. This is the most fitting memorial to this tragedy: one that has been performed all over the world, including the New York Philharmonic Brass Quintet.
