Fitness by the Fireplace for Breast Cancer Awareness

Hunt Valley Towne Centre and the American Cancer Society are partnering to fight breast cancer to benefit Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. The Towne Centre will feature pink décor for October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and feature activities to support the mission.

Fundraising events include “Fitness by the Fireplace,” featuring 30 minutes of Orangetheory Fitness followed by 30 minutes of Club Pilates to benefit Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Baltimore. Each participant will receive a pink color changing water bottle.

The American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation with more than 200 walks. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Baltimore takes place Sunday, October 13, 9 a.m. at the Y at 33rd St. and goes around Lake Montebello.
