Giant Recalls Salad Products Due To Metal Pieces
A major recall has been announced at Giant stores in Maryland; metal pieces may have gotten into produce, the FDA reports.

Those who purchase greens from Giant, be advised: There is a recall of packaged produce sold in Giant Food Stores because metal pieces might be inside. Maryland stores are among those affected by the recall.
BrightFarms, located in Culpeper County, Virginia, has been undergoing construction at its greenhouse. As a result of the construction, the Food and Drug Administration said that some of the produce may have been compromised by metal pieces.
Products packaged in clear, plastic clamshells are included in the recall. Specifics about the items recalled — baby spinach, spring mix, spinach blend, baby kale, arugula, mixed greens, romaine and basil — are listed at the end of the article.
