Hanel Named to The Arc Baltimore Board of Directors

Jigisha C. Hanel, Director of Risk Assurance at PricewaterhouseCoopers, has been named to The Arc Baltimore's Board of Directors.

Jigisha C. Hanel, Director of Risk Assurance at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, has been named to The Arc Baltimore’s Board of Directors.

Hanel brings 25 years of public accounting experience to her work on The Arc Board. During her career, she has provided audit and advisory services for a wide range of non-profit organizations, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, continuing care retirement communities, long-term care facilities, managed care and health maintenance organizations, foundations, and colleges and universities.

“Jigisha possesses an incredible depth of knowledge that will aid her in her role on our Board,” says The Arc Baltimore’s Executive Director, Stephen H. Morgan. “She understands many of the challenges our organization faces and will be an important resources to us.”

A graduate of the University of Maryland Baltimore County, Hanel began her career as Audit Manager at Baltimore’s Wolpoff and Company. Before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers earlier this year, she served as Senior Audit Manager at BDO USA, where her clients included Howard University Hospital, GBS Health, and Catholic Health East.

Hanel joins Erik Daly, Senior Vice President at PNC Institutional Asset Management and Managing Director of PNC Capital Advisors, LLC, and Nicole McCann, Director of Health Policy for Johns Hopkins Government Affairs, who also recently were named to The Arc Baltimore’s Board of Directors.
