I-83 Reopens At I-695 Interchange: SHA
Drivers were advised to take York Road instead while the interchange was closed during Thursday night's thunderstorms.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD - The Interstate 695 interchange at I-83 was closed temporarily Thursday evening, according to the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA).
All lanes of I-83 were closed just before 6 p.m. due to weather, state transportation officials reported.
By 8 p.m., the SHA reported that all lanes of I-83 had reopened north of I-695.

A severe storm with torrential rains and strong winds traveled through parts of Baltimore County Thursday after 5 p.m.
During the closure on I-83, the SHA advised drivers to take York Road as an alternate route.
