Maryland 9/11 Rolling Memorial Coming To Towson
A special ceremony at Towson University will memorialize those lost in the Sept. 11 attacks in 2001.

TOWSON, MD - Towson University is commemorating the 16-year anniversary of 9/11 in a special way.
The university will host the state's 9/11 rolling memorial at a ceremony on Monday, Sept. 11.
Maryland's 9/11 Rolling Memorial honors the 69 Marylanders who and the 143 others who gave their lives that day in the war on terror. It features a bell and plaque with the names of those who died in the attacks.

The ceremony at Towson will be held at Newell Field from noon to 1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 11.
Maryland's 9/11 Rolling Memorial will be at another ceremony, at the Parkville fire station, where firefighters and police officers will toll the bell starting at 8:46 a.m.

Our military and veterans center has invited the Maryland 9/11 rolling memorial to be part of our commemoration ceremony on Monday, Sept. 11 from 12-1 p.m. at Newell Field. The ceremony will honor the lives of the victims of the terrorist attacks 16 years ago.
