Maryland CASA Recruiting Runners -- and Walkers for Charity Team
Nonprofit organization seeks runners and walkers to help raise funds for Maryland's abused, neglected children.

WHAT: Maryland CASA Association is recruiting for runners and walkers for its charity team, Team CASA, that will participate in the Baltimore Running Festival taking place on Saturday, October 17, 2015.
This will be the child advocacy organization’s seventh year participating in the citywide running event.

All proceeds support Maryland CASA Association’s efforts to recruit more volunteers to advocate for Maryland’s foster children.

WHERE:The festival will be held at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, with race routes throughout the city.

ABOUT MARYLAND CASA (COURT APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCATES): Maryland CASA Association is a private, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to ensuring the rights of all victims of child abuse and neglect to grow up in safe, permanent homes. This mission is carried out in partnership with the state’s fifteen Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) programs, which provide trained volunteer advocates to speak up for the best interests of the children.
