Michael Phelps Goes To Starbucks, Result Is Golden

When Michael Phelps goes to Starbucks, the staff does not always spell his name correctly.

The Olympic swimmer who hails from Baltimore County posted a picture this week showing how he was identified by the barista during a recent trip to the coffee shop with his wife and friend.

The cups read "Friend of GOAT," "GOAT" and "Wife of GOAT."

Of course, GOAT stands for "greatest of all time."

Phelps, who has won 23 Olympic gold medals and 28 medals, is the most decorated Olympian in history and is considered the greatest swimmer of all time.

So what did he think of the GOAT cups?

Wrote Phelps: "Interesting names..."

Of note, Phelps takes four expresso shots in his coffee, while wife Nicole Phelps takes three and their unidentified friend took two.
