• Towson gets Homecoming performer for the first time in over a decade (thetowerlight.com) — Towson University is bringing back a Homecoming concert this October, marking the first time in more than a decade that students and alumni will get a dedicated performer on campus. Organizers say the "Homecoming Remix" concert caps Homecoming week, running October 26–31, and was planned in response to years of Towson community feedback asking for this tradition's return.
   

• Baltimore County launches new toolkit to help communities bring public spaces to life (nottinghammd.com) — Baltimore County, based in Towson, has released a new online placemaking toolkit to help neighborhood groups turn public spaces into livelier community hubs. Towson residents and organizations can use it to navigate permits, plan markets or concerts, commission murals, and learn from existing projects across the county through an interactive map of real-world examples.
