Woman Found After Disappearing In Towson: Police

A woman reported missing in Towson who suffers from cognitive issues has been located, police said.

TOWSON, MD — Police said the search has ended for a woman with cognitive issues who was reported missing in Towson on Sunday. Patricia Ann Thompson, 55, has been located and returned home safely.

Officials issued the update on Thompson Monday morning, after she had gone missing Sunday afternoon.

Police thanked the public for helping to assist in her safe return by sharing her information.

PREVIOUS REPORT — Authorities have asked for help finding a woman last seen in Towson. She suffers from cognitive issues and may seem confused, police advised.

Patricia Ann Thompson, 55, is described as having brown eyes and brown, shoulder-length hair. She is 5-feet-6-inches tall and 115 pounds.

Thompson was visiting a friend in the 1300 block of Glendale Road when she was last seen around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, according to officials.

At the time, she was wearing a red or pink sweater coat, police said.

She is not familiar with the Towson area, officials reported, and lives in the 1000 block of Evesham Avenue.
