First Freezing Temperatures Could Hit Maryland This Week
It's going to get cold — the coldest so far this season — later this week in Maryland, according to the National Weather Service.

BALTIMORE, MD — The coldest air so far this season is headed for Maryland later this week. Temperatures are expected to drop into the 20s on Friday and the cold air could linger through Saturday. Before you break out the heavy coats, and maybe even the scraper, several days of rain are predicted.
Then the state's first freezing temperatures are expected to blow in Friday night with an Arctic air blast, according to the National Weather Service. After a mostly sunny day with a high near 50 degrees, the thermometer should take a dive that night with lows in the upper 20s to lower 30s.
Accuweather's forecast says Friday night will be clear with temperatures "falling to near the record of 25; there will be a freeze."
