• Weis Markets partners with WMAR for Fill the House donation drive (wmar2news.com) — A major donation drive is coming right to the Weis at Towson Place on October 14, turning the parking lot on Putty Hill Avenue into an all-day collection hub for House of Ruth Maryland. Neighbors are encouraged to drop off new bedding, household goods, toiletries, diapers, and cleaning supplies to help survivors of intimate partner violence rebuild safe, comfortable homes.
   

• I-695 crash injures Maryland State Trooper (avenuenews.com) — A Towson resident has been charged with driving under the influence after a crash on I-695 near Harford Road that injured a Maryland state trooper in a work zone. The trooper and both civilian drivers were taken to local hospitals and have since been released, while state police continue to investigate the overnight collision's cause.
