Sheppard Pratt to Host Free School Transitions Talk for Parents on June 10
How you can help your child make a smooth transition into middle or high school.

Sheppard Pratt Health System will host a free talk in June for those interested in helping their child successfully transition into middle or high school:
FREE COMMUNITY TALK: “School Transitions: How You Can Help Your Child Succeed” will take place from 6:30 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10. Parents whose child is preparing for middle or high school may be anxious about the transition. During this talk, we will discuss important steps that we, as parents, can take to help our children make a smooth transition. Some of these questions will include:
- Why is it important to get involved?
- What can I do to best support my child during these transition periods?
- How can I become more involved with my child’s education (even if I work and can’t always get there)?
The talk is free and open to the public, and will take place at The Conference Center at Sheppard Pratt, 6501 N. Charles St. in Towson, Maryland.
