Three new members elected to Grassroots Board
Towson professor joins crisis intervention center board of directors
Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center has elected three new members to its Board of Directors. The members include Erica Cariello, Larry Froman and Joseph Stellone. Carriello is Vice President, Senior Relationship Manager for M&T Bank. Froman is professor, Department of Psychology, at Towson University. Stellone, who spent 25 years on the mortgage industry, is involved in real estate, startup companies and stock market investment.
Grassroots provides the county’s only emergency shelter and 24-hour crisis intervention services. Professional crisis counselors staff Grassroots’ 24-hour hotline; see walk-in clients in need of immediate counseling; operate the Mobile Crisis Team, which responds to community emergencies, and manage the county’s emergency shelter for homeless men, women and families.
