Towson Gets Connected with New Express BusLink
Express BusLink cuts travel time from Towson to White Marsh in half, transit officials say. Another bus connects Towson to Owings Mills.

A new set of bus lines that launched Monday will enable people to get from Towson to other suburbs more quickly, without having to travel through Baltimore City.
Express BusLink will connect Towson to White Marsh and turn what was previously a two-hour trip into a one-hour ride, according to the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA). Another bus line connects Towson to the Owings Mills Metro Station.
The Towson-to-White Marsh route (Express BusLink 102) is one of three new lines on the bus schedule.

"Baltimore has desperately needed a comprehensive, regional transit plan that helps alleviate downtown congestion by opening up the transit grid and that connects people to emerging job centers," MTA Administrator/CEO Paul Comfort said in a statement.
Added Comfort: "Express BusLink is an important new service that will link people to where they need to go."
One-way fares range from $1.10 (for seniors and the disabled) to $2.10, and there are day passes ($4 plus $0.40 per ride), weekly passes ($22 plus $0.40 per ride) and monthly passes ($85) available. Get more information from the Maryland Transit Administration regarding the Express BusLink program.
