Towson Under Winter Weather Advisory: National Weather Service
Snow may make travel difficult in Towson the day before Thanksgiving.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for southern Baltimore County, in effect from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26.
A winter weather advisory means travel may be hazardous due to snow-covered, slippery roads and limited visibility, according to the weather service.
Accumulations of 2 to 5 inches of snow are predicted in the far northern and western suburbs of Washington and Baltimore, according to the winter weather advisory, which applies to Howard, southern Baltimore and Montgomery counties. A coating of up to an inch may stick near Interstate 95, the advisory said.

Rain is likely in Towson overnight, turning into snow between 8 and 11 a.m. Wednesday, according to the weather service. The heaviest snow will fall through 2 p.m. on Wednesday, the weather service reports. Approximately 1 to 2 inches are in the forecast for Towson.
Snow will taper off late Wednesday afternoon, according to the report.
