Traffic Builds Near Towson After Crash on I-695

A three-vehicle crash on Interstate 695 was causing backups for those on the inner loop Friday afternoon, transportation officials reported.

At 2:38 p.m., the three-vehicle collision was reported at exit 27 for MD 146/Dulaney Valley Road, according to the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team (CHART).

Traffic was bumper-to-bumper in the area, CHART traffic cameras showed.

By 3:10 p.m., all lanes were open and the left shoulder remained closed for cleanup, CHART reported.
