Truck Drives Off I-695 Near Perring Parkway: Fire Company
A crash into a ravine off the Baltimore beltway led to delays Wednesday.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A truck went into a ravine off Interstate 695 Wednesday afternoon near Parkville, according to the Providence Volunteer Fire Company.
The crash occurred on the outer loop of I-695 at the exit for Perring Parkway, state transportation officials reported after 2:30 p.m.
The ramp was closed in the area for several hours, officials said.

Traffic reporter Liz Drabick said the delay was "significant" as of 4 p.m.
By 8:40 p.m., authorities reported the crash had cleared.
