UPS Worker Taped Guns to Legs in Theft Attempt: Police

Police said the guns were taken out of a package at shipping facility.

A man who worked at UPS in Sparks has been charged in connection with four guns stolen from the shipping facility, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

A security guard stopped the 27-year-old employee Tuesday morning after learning of suspicious activity—and found the man had one gun taped to each leg, police reported.

Police responded at 8:47 a.m. to investigate the situation and upon investigation, reported that Bruneau had allegedly taken two additional guns from the same facility, the UPS in the 14400 block of York Road, on June 9.

The guns were stolen from packages at the UPS, according to police.

Eric Michael Bruneau, of the 10000 block of Magledt Road in Parkville, has been charged with four counts of possession of a stolen regulated firearm.

He has been released on $25,000 bail, police said Wednesday.

Bruneau, who had worked for UPS for four years, resigned from his post, according to WBAL.
