As renovations begin at the Prince George’s County Animal Services Facility and Adoption Center, space for dogs will be temporarily limited due to closures in key areas like Intake and Placement. But there’s a powerful way you can help right now…

Become a foster hero.

By opening your home for just a few weeks, you’re giving a dog a safe, low-stress environment while helping us continue to serve animals in need during construction.

Fostering means:
• Providing a loving temporary home
• Helping us maintain lifesaving capacity
• Making a real difference—one dog at a time

Program Details:
• Approximately 4-week commitment
• Full support from Animal Services staff
• Perfect for individuals or families ready to make a short-term impact
