🚨 FULL HOUfSE ALERT 🚨

The Prince George's County Animal Shelter has reached kennel capacity. Every kennel is full, and that means the community's support is needed now more than ever.

Here's how you can help create space and save lives:

🐾  Adopt
Adoption applications are accepted in person at the shelter located at 3750 Brown Station Road, Upper Marlboro, MD. Tues - Fri, 11 am - 7 pm and Sat, 10 am - 4 pm. Arrive one hour before closing.

All pets will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

🏡 Foster
Opening your home, even temporarily, creates space for another homeless animal. Complete a foster application, then email fosterPGPets@co.pg.md.us for more information.

🙋Volunteer
Walk dogs, socialize cats, prepare enrichment, assist with small mammals, and help make every day a little brighter for the animals waiting for homes.

Steps for the Adoption Process

1. Visit 24petconnect.com/PGEOADOPT to view animals available for adoption from the facility.
2. Call 301-780-7200, option 4, with the animal ID number(s) to check availability.
3. Complete the Adoption Application for Dogs & Cats or Adoption Application for Exotic Animals, print and bring the application with you to the facility. Please DO NOT FAX OR EMAIL applications.
