Carroll County Redistricting Committee Meeting Nov. 10

The Carroll County Redistricting Committee is scheduled to meet at the North Carroll Branch Library in Hampstead on Thursday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. The public is invited to participate in this meeting.

The Committee is charged with reviewing the five existing Commissioner districts in the County based on the 2010 census data to ensure that the districts continue to have a substantially equal population and preparing recommended revisions as necessary. Such recommendations must be submitted by to the Carroll County Legislative Delegation to the General Assembly by Dec. 1, 2011.
