Did you know the origins of modern baseball can be traced back to a divided America when the country was in the midst of a great Civil War? America’s National Pastime is coming to the Carroll County Farm Museum during the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War/Living History Re-enactment/First Call! The Civil War Era Baseball Game will take place on May 5, 2013 at 2 p.m. The game will be held at the Landon Burns Park baseball field adjacent to the Farm Museum. The game and the entire two-day event are FREE of charge. Play-by-play will be called by WTTR’s own Bob Mathers.
