Zoning Administration Hearings

On Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at the times noted below, or as soon thereafter as possible, the Carroll County Zoning Administration will hold public hearings in Room 109 of the Carroll County Office Building, 225 North Center Street, Westminster, Maryland 21157, for the following cases:

• 2:00 p.m. ~ Case ZA-1329 for an internet based, home occupation business as an accessory use, at 852 Mayfair Way, Eldersburg, MD, in Election District 05, by Joshua Michael Martin, according    to the Carroll County Code of Public Local Laws and Ordinances, Chapters 223-80 (B) and 223-181.

• 2:15 p.m. ~ Case ZA-1330 for a variance from the minimum required front yard setback of 50 ft to 40 ft and a variance from the minimum required side yard setback of 40 ft to 15 ft for a garage, at 105 Hollow Rock Ave., Westminster, MD, in Election District 07, by Mark and Connie Jantz, according to the Carroll County Code of Public Local Laws and Ordinances, Chapters 223-121(A&B) and 223-181.

• 2:30 p.m. ~ Case ZA-1331 for a variance from the minimum required side yard setback of 30 feet to 27 feet for an addition, at 1333 Avondale Road, New Windsor, MD, in Election District 07, by Carroll County Foods, Inc., according to the Carroll County Code of Public Local Laws and Ordinances, Chapters 223-121 and 223-181.

• 2:45p.m. ~ Case ZA-1332 for a variance from the minimum required side yard setback of 50 feet to 35 feet for a pole barn/garage, at 4924 Schalk Rd. 1, Manchester, MD 21102, in Election district 6, by F. Robert Ellenberger, according to the Carroll County Code of Public Local Laws and Ordinances, Chapters 223-37(A) and 223.181.

• 3:00 p.m. ~ Case ZA-1333 for a variance from the maximum allowed size for an attached accessory dwelling unit of 800 square feet to 1,152 square feet, at 5613 Old Washington Road, Sykesville, MD 21784, in Election District 14, by Paul Schaffer, according to the Carroll County Code of Public Local Laws and Ordinances, Chapters 223-35(G) (4) and 223.181.
