I had the opportunity to visit the Carroll County Four H and FFA fair earlier this week. It was lots of fun. I saw lots of animals and carvings by a local artist. My favorite animal is a horse. Some of the activities run only in the evening. The fair began on Saturday July 27th and runs through Friday August 2, 2013. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something fun to do. I also saw chickens. I had the opportunity tork behind the scenes at a fair in another county close by once. It takes a lot of hard work and time to set things up, but it is well worth it in the end. I have never participated in the event itself, but I enjoy visiting it.
