• MCPS Hosts Six Regional Back-to-School Fairs August 22 Across Montgomery County (moderatelymoco.com) — Families in Wheaton can head to Wheaton High School on Saturday, August 22, from 3–6 p.m. for a regional back-to-school fair serving the Wheaton/Thomas Edison and nearby clusters. MCPS is replacing one big countywide event with six neighborhood fairs, some offering free student immunizations, to make it easier for families to connect with school staff and resources close to home.
