Where/Where: Mar. 13, 12 p.m., from 7th to 17th Streets on Consitution Avenue., Washington. D.C.

Why Go: The weather is getting a little warmer and the parade will have local dance and music groups.

Pricing: Grandstand seating is $15, otherwise free.

Limerick Pub Post Parade Celebration

Where/When: 11301 Elkin Street, Mar. 13, 10:30 a.m. to midnight

Why Go: Wheaton’s Irish Pub opened this week, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day festivities. While the restaurant is on a limited menu for the first couple of weeks, the beer is flowing freely.

Where/When: Strathmore,  Mar. 10, 8 p.m

Why Go: Get the full spectrium of traditional Celtic music in one concert, featuring the Baltimore Symphony, vocalist, step dancers, an Irish instrumentalist and an audience sing-along.

Where/When: Round House Theatre Silver Spring, Mar. 10, 7 p.m.

Why Go: One Flea Spare, a comedy play, tells a tale of a rough sailor and young girl who are quarantined for a month in a wealthy home.
