Why Go: Made up of "menagerie of a giant dinosaur, hungry anteaters, hitch-hiking rabbits, introverted frogs, insomniac hippos and cantankerous polar bears", ZooZoo is unique performance of an surprisingly all-human cast.

Pricing: $15 to $35

Where/When: 8 p.m., March 25, 7114 Sycamore Ave, Takoma Park, MD 20912

Why Go: A truly intimate gathering (at a Takoma Park residence) with music from John and Michele Law, a duo from Ontario that has six albums of acoustic folk-grass featuring the closest of harmonies.

Pricing: $15 suggested donation

Where/When: March 26, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Fenton Street and Silver Spring Avenue., Silver Spring

Why Go: Downtown Silver Spring has plenty of shops, but Saturday's market brings a few new faces (and items) from nearby. Local artists and free parking in the downtown lots. Not a hard choice.

Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog

Where/When: D.C. Arts Center, 2438 18th Street, Washington, D.C., Mar. 25, 26 and 27, 7:30 p.m.

Why Go: The internet sensation from 2008 is story of (actual) good and evil and of course, love. The Landless Theatre Company will only be performing the musical this weekend.
