• Montgomery County Council Schedules Public Hearings on Housing, Taxes and Fire Safety (mocoshow.com) — Montgomery County is taking public testimony on proposals that include expanding the Wheaton Urban District, which could affect local services, taxes, and business support in your neighborhood. Hearings on water and sewer planning, landlord rules, rental platforms, tax credits, and fire safety are set for September 29, October 6, and October 13, with options to testify in person or remotely.
