WHEATON, MD — A District Heights woman died Sunday from injuries she suffered in a crash at a Wheaton intersection, according to Montgomery County Police.The fatal crash happened at 6:22 p.m. at the intersection of Randolph Road and Denley Road, according to Montgomery County Police. A 2011 Hyundai Sonata driven by Michelle Renee Sears, 30, of the 6500 block of Hil Mar Drive in District Heights, was southbound on Denley Road. A 2002 Ford Explorer was westbound on Randolph Road and the vehicles collided in the intersection.Police say Sears was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died.Authorities say Pedro Garcia Huerta, 25, of the 11600 block of Goodloe Road in Silver Spring, drove the Explorer. He was not injured.This collision remains under investigation. Anyone who saw the crash or has information about it is asked to call police at 240-773-6620.
