Human remains were discovered last month on an island between Massachusetts Greenfield and Montague.

GREENFIELD, MA – Authorities have identified the person whose remains were found by a group of children at summer camp in Massachusetts Aug. 23, according to a Tuesday news release from the Northwestern District Attorney's Office.
The remains discovered last month on an island between Greenfield and Montague have been identified as those of 57-year-old Brian Cornwell of Greenfield, who went missing in December 2020, officials said.
