MA Teenagers Can Workout For Free At Planet Fitness This Summer

The gym chain is offering teenagers between the ages of 14 and 19 the chance to exercise for free all summer. Here's how.

MASSACHUSETTS — Teenagers looking to get in the gym this summer can do so for free through a returning Planet Fitness program.

The gym chain is bringing back its High School Summer Pass Program for 2023, which offers teenagers between the ages of 14 and 19 the opportunity to work out for free all summer.

This year's program starts on May 15 and lasts until Aug. 31. Signing up can be done both online and at your local Planet Fitness. For the online link, click here.

Anyone under 18 must register with a parent.

There are also some potential prizes for teenagers who workout at Planet Fitness this summer.

A TikTok challenge is offering $10,000 in scholarships to the winner who submits a video.

Additionally, Planet Fitness has created a leaderboard to track signup from individual schools. Five from the U.S. and five from Canada will be chosen at the end of the summer, and the schools with the most signups will receive a $10,000.

Winning schools can use the money for new athletic equipment, field renovations, fitness classes, and health and wellness classes, Planet Fitness officials said.
