Tens Of Thousands Without Power Across Massachusetts As Winds Whip Through State

Tens of thousands are without power across Massachusetts Tuesday as high winds whip through the state.

The Massachusetts Emergency Agency put the number of residents without power at more than 35,000 Tuesday morning.

Winds gusted up to 33 mph on a sunny Tuesday with a high of 37 degrees.

Winds remained strong into the night, gusting as high as 20 mph, but died down Wednesday, as it remained sunny with a high near 36 degrees.

The temperature climbs to 51 Friday but is followed by a chance of snow early Saturday morning.
