Mounds of Snow Melt Off To Reveal Dog Feces Strewn Streets Of Boston: WCVB
A resident complained to the network of "dog poop everywhere."
BOSTON, MA — The blizzard of 2026 buried Boston under snow, but at least it hid the dog dirt.
A WCVB story said that with recent warm temperatures melting off the mounds of snow, a disturbing reality is coming to light — an abundance of dog feces.

"In neighborhoods from Brighton to Charlestown to Southie and beyond, a common sight is the result of dog owners not picking up after their four-legged friends," WCVB reported, with the network describing the city as "littered with dog waste and garbage."

A "resident" even told WCVB there was, "Dog poop everywhere."

"I think a lot of irresponsible dog owners take this for granted, especially when the snow comes around," the resident said. "They just let it go in the snow and think when it melts, it’s not magically going to be there. People being lazy and not having respect for their neighbors."
