Acme Theater Productions of Maynard presents Ken Ludwig’s “Moon Over Buffalo” from April 29 to May 21. This madcap comedy farce centers on fading stage actors of the 1950s, who are stuck in Buffalo, NY, playing both "Private Lives" and "Cyrano de Bergerac," often on the same day. But when director Frank Capra comes to watch the matinee, everything that can go wrong, must go wrong, and there is not a mistaken identity left undiscovered, a door that is not slammed, nor a running gag allowed any rest.
Directed by award-winning local director Nancy Curran Willis, “Moon Over Buffalo” features local talent John McAuliffe (Boxboro), Barbara Douglass (Newton), Cheryl Carter Miller (Lunenburg), Allison Rudmann Putnam (Wakefield), Leland Karn (Sudbury), Aric Brown (Harvard), Kevin Nessman (Maynard), and Emily Loflin (Framingham).
