Local Agriculture and Conservation Workshop

The Middlesex Conservation District Local Work Group is holding a series of interactive public workshops in Middlesex County this spring as a part of a conservation needs assessment. The workshops are an opportunity for organizational stakeholders, concerned citizens, agricultural producers and municipal officials to weigh in on the agricultural and conservation issues affecting their locality. The results of the workshops will be reported with Natural Resource Conservation Service to direct local funding from the Farm Bill.  This is an important opportunity to help direct significant funding.

The workshops are a great way to discover Middlesex County resources, explore new approaches to solving issues and meet local people interested in agriculture and conservation. Meeting specifics are on the flyer and below. Others will be added for May.
