Iron Work Farm in Acton presents Praying Town, a documentary film by Zadi Zokou about the 14 villages of "praying Indians" founded in the 17th century by the Rev. John Eliot, including Natick and Nashoba.
The second half of the film highlights the legacy of the early Native Americans, and their contribution to New England society through the Civil War era.
This program is supported in part by a grant from Acton Boxborough Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
