Speaker Bob Eisengrein visited Hiroshima four months after the atomic bomb was dropped on the city. The 25-year-old took numerous photographs there and in other parts of occupied Japan and also kept a detailed journal. His talk will give an intimate view of the aftermath of the atomic bombing, and of everyday life in the country. Bob was an Acton resident for many years. His experiences in Japan inspired him to become involved in local politics and environmental causes.
