Come to Acton Memorial Library for a presentation on the Minuteman Catalog, a wonderful tool for research and to keep track of what you’ve read or would like to read. This class will demonstrate how to:
- Use ‘My Account’ to place holds, see what you have on hold, update your information, and keep track of what you’ve checked out
- Save items to a list for further consideration
- Request multiple items at the same time
- Freeze holds so that requests don’t arrive while you’re away
- Rate items you’ve read, viewed or listened to
- Do advanced searches for difficult topics
This is not a ‘hands on’ class, but you are welcome to bring a laptop to follow the instructor. The class is led by AML Reference Librarian Shannon Bloom.
