All The King's Men Comedy & Theater Troupe
Where/When: Friday at 8 p.m. at the American Repertory Theater's Oberon, 2 Arrow St., Harvard Square.
Why Go: The laughter will be familiar but the cause for it won't be. This troupe is a highly acclaimed, all-female cast performing gender-bending cabaret.

Fine Arts & Crafts Festival at the Codman Estate
Where/When: Saturday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Codman Estate, 34 Codman Road, Lincoln. Rain or shine.
Why Go: For an inspiring fine crafts event in its 29th year featuring the work of over 100 artisans, with live music, children's activities and a food court.
Pricing: $5. Free for Historic New England members and kids younger than 12.
Presence, Awareness, Discernment: Yoga in the Sculpture Park
Where/When: 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the deCordova Sculpture Park & Museum, 51 Sandy Pond Road, Lincoln.
Why Go: This workshop with Brianna Bedigian will use contemporary sculpture as the starting point "to explore yogic and art historical concepts." Students will work on poses, breathing and meditation next to selected pieces of art in the sculpture garden.
Pricing: Members $60/ non-members $80.
Barbecue & Farm Day
Where/When: Sunday 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Verrill Farm, 11 Wheeler Road, Concord.
Why Go: Verrill Farm will be serving barbecue made in its own smoker. The event features live music by Southern Rail, Giddy Up Ponies and Hayrides.
Pricing: Free to attend event. Purchase food a la carte.
