The Boston area has received 105.7 inches of snow this winter—just shy of the record of 107.6 inches set in 1995/96.

Giants chunks of sea ice have caused boats to get stuck and officials have restricted navigation in the Cape Cod Canal. The extreme cold even made ocean waves appear frozen, as captured by another Cape Cod photographer:
