Incredible Drone Footage Shows Boston After 100+ Inches of Snow

Boston Virtual Imaging flew a drone over landmarks like Fenway Park, Boston Common, and the Charles River.

Boston is on track to have its snowiest winter ever.

As of Friday, 102 inches of snow has accumulated. The record is 107.6, set in the 1995/1996 season.

The snow has wreaked havoc on the region, shutting down the MBTA, causing roof collapses, and forcing school officials to cancel classes—sometimes for as many as seven days.

One consolation—depending on your point of view—is that it’s 2015 and we have drones.

More snow is on the way for Boston Sunday night—and it could be enough to break the snowfall record.

The good news? The first day of spring is March 20.
